History
Iskra Mehanizmi's products have been on the market since 1956. The company was established as a part of Iskra Kranj, with its primary purpose to produce telephone counters, dials for electric counters, master and slave clocks. Those programmes were followed by our own products: hour meters, pulse counters, various clocks, registrators and mechanisms, mostly in co-operation with other companies, well-known european brands mainly.
Market changes in the 90's stimulated from Iskra Mehanizmi to extend its production programmes and reorganize in a joint-stock company with three business units.
At that time the company made partnerships with Philips and Bosch which made the turn of Iskra Mehanizmi towards becoming a system supplier.
